Actions Taken by Protech for Safer Return to Work Post Covid-19 Lockdown

2020 has been a difficult year for us all. We have all experienced our share of challenges during the pandemic that ranged from staying indoors 24×7 barring all social life, to meeting doctors when symptoms of Covid-19 hit us. However, one needs to move on in the different paths of life while taking complete precautions. And this is what has been strictly yet carefully maintained with each employee and customer at Protech Group.

Our employees and customers are what defines the strength of our company and offering complete care towards their health and well-being are our foremost priority. Hence, Protech Group ensured to take in every essential measure required to combat Covid-19 since the day we re-opened after the lockdown. Ranging from regular sanitation of the different corners to ensuring each member inside is wearing a mask, we have been careful and promise to continue doing the same.

Here is a video showcasing steps taken by Protech to make work area and office premises a safer place to work during Covid-19

Safety measures Incorporated by Protech in Office Premises

To help you get a better insight into the many safety measures we are taking, we have listed out a few points below:

  1. Mandatory temperature check of anyone entering the premises of Protech Group’s offices and other areas of business.
  2. Mandatory use of sanitisers at the entrance or washing of hands for 20 seconds with soap and water if required.
  3. Mandatory use of face masks to ensure complete safety of the individual as well as the people around.
  4. Regular sanitization of the premises ensuring each corner is covered.
  5. Ensuring no large crowd is gathered in any space inside or outside the office premises.

Additional Measures to Combat Covid-19

In addition to the above-mentioned safety measures that we are maintaining, there also are other health measures that we are taking and suggesting each individual take. Here are some among the many:

  1. Drinking warm water: This may have been the most common tip that you have heard since the start of the pandemic. However, trust us, drinking warm water at least a few times a day works wonders as a precautionary measure. With the current winter season, it is also wise to consume only warm water so that the throat is unaffected and doesn’t lead to pain, which is a common symptom.
  2. Vitamin C: Consumption of vitamin C foods or supplements has been highly suggested by experts studying and fighting the virus. The presence of powerful antioxidants in vitamin C rich foods are known to boost the immunity of the body. While the novel coronavirus is a deadly flu, a person with a strong immune system may be able to fight the symptoms without being affected seriously.
  3. Exercise: Stepping outside unless necessary is of course not recommended during this period. However, you can and should practice exercising indoors to add a boost to your immunity and overall health. Gyms, running tracks and parks are open today. So, you can pick your choice of exercising space or make the best use of your home space to practice simple moves daily or yoga.

Way Forward

We hope you will follow these simple tips as well and help keep yourself and your loved ones safe from this deadly coronavirus. Protech Group is not only a pioneer in the real estate industry, but also understands and cares for the people it connects with. Be it an employee or a customer who is looking to buy a new home in Guwahati, we promise you complete safety during your visit to our office. To know more, you may visit us at www.protechgroup.in.

The impact of Covid-19 also got families together. With the necessity of the work from home culture adapted by maximum companies right from the start, people started to spend more time inside cooking, reading, talking, eating and so on. For instance, one of our residents from Protech Park, Mr. Sunil Garg who lives in a joint family, shared,

-“It was good spending time with them after a long break. Financial crisis and tensions were handled together. I also lost weight as I could focus on exercise and my grocery business was handled properly. My family and I could follow satsung guru as well with all precautions taken with utmost care.”

Protech Group ensured that each member of our different residential societies followed the necessary precautions. We made it a point to make the availability of every basic necessity for our residents with the assistance of frontline workers. Many of our residents are also a part of the brave healthcare warriors. Dr. Ranjib Kumar Baruah from Protech Pearl said,

“Being doctors, we have Covid-19 duties. Our lives changed, we had to wear PPE kits, work 7 days a week and maintain 7 days quarantine. It became impossible to predict what will and can happen within seconds. Unlike others, we never had the option to work for home and had to go for our duties and ensure that we maintained a distance from our child.”

What the residents of different Protech societies had to say about their experience during Covid-19

While the pandemic has shattered the lives of many and we are still under crisis, all individuals made it a point to stay indoors and maintain the essential sanitation protocol. Right from wearing masks every time they stepped out to sanitize their hands and temperature check before entering their respective societies, every protocol was maintained. We tried to learn from residents of different Protech societies about their experience and how they coped with the pandemic. Here’s what they shared

  2. Reema Goswami“The pandemic affected us a lot. Nobody was allowed to step out or in for 2-3 months. However, being a teacher (SSA), it was pretty difficult to work from home plus my salary has been deducted for cost-cutting procedures.”

Protech Heritage

  1. Satya Sadhya Saikia“We followed all the guidelines and necessary precautions and didn’t step out of the house.

It is good that we are still maintaining the precautions inside the society as the pandemic isn’t over yet.”

  2. Arati Talukdar: “It has been okay I can say. I am following all the necessary steps and taking every required precaution.”

Why Covid-19 was a phase of mixed experiences

2020 was also a year wherein the hidden talents of many people were introduced. While some took into painting and DIYs, many others learned to cook and welcome the practice of gardening. One of our residents from Protech Park, Dr. Anjali Goswami, shared, “Being old, it was hard dealing with the contagious disease. I took all the precautions and essentials were managed for livelihood. Most of my time was managed in kitchen gardening and reading books and the best part was that I learned to write poems during the lockdown.”

He was admitted in Excel Care Hospital and his positive thoughts even after the battle are inspiring: “It was an excellent experience. Don’t fear when you think there is a change in your body. And the hypothesis here is that such advancement has led to various sectors enhance their methods of business. This stands absolutely true to one of the largest industries in the world – Real estate. The name “Protech” is curated from the two powerful words that define advancement – Progress and Technology. A quick summary of the latest technology implemented in our construction sites

We are an establishment committed to think, implement and execute results that suit the current needs of our customers. Anybody investing in a property today looks for modern amenities, implementation of efficient materials and every other luxury needed to lead a comfortable life. Protech Group thoroughly utilizes a wide selection of such technologies that enhances both the construction and living procedures. Allow us to give you a better insight into our process by understanding some of the major technologies that our experts have been using:

  1. Mivan Technology: Also known as “Mivan shuttering,” the mivan technology works wonders to strengthen the various sections of a building with a smooth finish. The use of aluminium formworks further contributes to a building’s durability along with speeding up the roof casting and dynamic pile load testing. While shuttering is the process of efficiently holding the temporary moulds (plywood) of wet concrete in the early stage, formwork includes the comprehensive process of the entire construction procedure.
  2. Digital Level Marker: Positioning and levelling the various elements in any given space is an intricate job. It demands accurate alignment with the perfection to be comfortably used. Hence, Protech Group’s experts ensure the use of digital level markers. The markers are designed to install and fix different objects including sockets, railings and floor skirtings in perfect alignments.
  3. AAC Blocks: Lightweight and durable, each property of Protech Group is constructed with Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) blocks. Unlike bricks, AAC blocks emit less heat due to the less presence of steel, concrete and cement making them ideal for the humid weather of Assam. Additionally, AAC blocks boast high sound insulating properties which absorb sound coming from the outside.
  4. In-House Concrete Batching Plant: It is always quality that one seeks and we at Protech Group are committed to serving you with the best of quality in properties. We take pride in sharing with you that we will be using an in-house concrete batching plant for better quality control of our residential properties. Each concrete mix will be carefully evaluated by our experts before they receive a go-to for the construction.

Road-map to a safer future

The increasing potential of being able to grow as one of the leading real estate experts in Assam is our constant research and implementation of the latest technologies. We make sure that our construction material passes our rigid test for which we have built an in-house lab for grade testing of building materials. Incorporating the best of technologies is our way of ensuring a safe home that endures time and weather. In our 15 years of business, Protech Group has readily accepted the changes and commits to accept further for the betterment of the state.

5 Reasons that Make Co-living Spaces the Hottest Real Estate Trend!

You are a student, a working professional or a single person looking for first-class accommodation. But the shocking high rents for apartments you find today hasn’t made it easy to find the ideal space. Do we sound similar? Well, if we are, we also come with a solution for you! “Co-living spaces” have lately become a widely accepted concept of living. They act as a heaven for those looking for living spaces that come with every essential amenity. Here we are giving you a few quick insight into how co-living spaces are offering a modern solution to all our logistic needs.

5 Reasons That Prove Co-Living Space are a Boon

Most living spaces come with the facilities of a washing machine, refrigerator, television, geyser, well-equipped kitchen and so on. Isn’t that just amazing? After all, it becomes pretty challenging for those living alone to invest in every essential commodity to lead a comfortable life. Now, without further delay, let us check out the 5 top reasons on why co-living spaces are becoming the next big thing in the real estate industry:

  1. Less Expensive: The primary concept of commencing  co-living spaces was to make accommodation affordable for people. Hence, renting such a space instead of an apartment for working people or students has been proven to be extremely beneficial. One can enjoy a wide range of facilities along with accommodation rather than having to invest in every item ranging from refrigerators to televisions.
  2. Profitable Business Model: Unlike apartments and flats that take days or even months for owners to find tenants, it is exactly the opposite with co-living spaces. Owners can easily find tenants for at least a room or two of the many available. This helps owners maintain their monthly income. Additionally, landowners can avail the opportunity of connecting with tenants from various backgrounds. This can further assist in taking decisions of which category of individuals would they prefer as tenants – working, students, etc.
  3. Increased Development: Co-living spaces increase opportunities for people in underdeveloped areas. How? Renting apartments becomes challenging, especially for those who manage studies and work at the same time. With co-living spaces, the daunting task of investing in several items gets eliminated. Additionally, people get to live with people from different sectors and with similar lifestyles. This can prove essential for one’s personal and professional growth.
  4. Opportunity to Bond: Several studies have proposed that co-living spaces make for an ideal living condition for those who are single. This is why the concept has gained much popularity in many parts of the world including Europe, the United States and China. The charm of the living atmosphere is the opportunity to meet new people and create a bond. Hence, individuals who are single or far away from their homes can take the best advantage of the concept.
  5. Better Lifestyle: Every individual is well acquainted with the accommodation challenges faced by working professionals and students coming in from different states. However, co-living spaces are here to remove every such obstacle. When you choose a co-living space, you welcome the chances of living a better lifestyle. With world-class facilities made available in advance, you can expand other opportunities.

Let’s sum it all

With the advancement of technology, booking a space for yourself has become even more easier. With real estate experts trying to expand this concept of accommodation, there is also an increase in easing the process. For example, many co-living spaces can be checked and booked through apps dedicated to the service. This helps individuals to remain at bay from the painful processes of finding a broker and paying them a commission.

Protech Group stands committed to bringing in better accommodation spaces for people of different tastes. We focus on the changing lifestyle and demands of people and hence, create spaces to enhance living standards. Hence, we are excited to create a variation of living opportunities for our clients.
