Welcome positive energy to home
A beautiful entrance brings positive energy inside our home. It flows through the entrance door, so we have to make the entrance free from any obstruction and welcoming. We should not keep any window or door just opposite the entrance door so that the energy will not flow out through it immediately. We can hang a chime and decorate it to look stunning. Positive energy will attract towards the door.
Symbol of Godliness
Making a temple or a pooja space in our home creates good vibes. It’s considered good to be a believer in God and hence it is a source of positive energy. Even if anyone is not, still he/she can keep the symbols of Godliness like a good frame of a Sanskrit shlok calligraphy, Buddha statue or other non-religious Godly symbols in the home. It fills the environment with positive and peaceful vibe and drives away the negative energy. But we don’t need to hang it or place it outside the main entrance.

Bathroom is a room in the home or hotel for personal hygiene activities, containing a toilet, a sink and either a bathtub, a shower or both. It is one of the most important parts of a home. It is easy to organize and have utmost impacts on people visiting your home. Follow these tips for your bathroom organization and create a spa-like retreat.
Declutter First
At the very first step we need to start with good decluttering. Things that we don’t require or is of no use any more needs to be moved out of the bathroom so that we can bring in useful ones for proper organising.
Utilize Cabinet Doors insider for Storage
Extra storage can be gained by using the inside of cabinet doors. To hold a variety of items, one can use over the door organizers. For example, toothbrush organizers just stick directly to the cabinet door.
Drawer Dividers
Our bathroom drawers are cluttered with a number of little things that mixes up and much time is consumed to find those little things. Drawer dividers help to give them a ‘home’ and it becomes easy and quick to find things. They keep things tidy and provide space.
Personalized Chamber
Having a chamber for the members of the family is of great help in bathroom organisation. Each chamber is filled with personal care items used by the member on a daily basis. We just need to take our chamber, use the products and put it back in its place. The things are in one place so there is no chance of leaving out on any step and it’s quick and easy to clean up.
Laundry Bin
Keeping laundry bin in the bathroom mainly for wet and dirty towels is a quick step to clean up and an easier way to do laundry. We can wash towels separately from other clothing items, this makes laundry routine much simpler.
Hanging of towels in hooks instead of bars
We can hang up bath towels on a hook instead of hanging them on a towel bar. It allows the towel to dry better and use of separate hooks for each member. To cut down on washing, we try to re-use our towels and it is nice to know that we are getting our own towel. In case we don’t want to mount on walls, we can use door hooks.
Using of clear acrylic containers
Acrylic containers work great for storage needs around the house. Medium size works perfectly in bathrooms. Cupboards occupy a lot of space but acrylic bins fit the space in a best way as if they are made for the space. These containers work great for stacking. Clear design allows easy view of what’s inside.
Labelling for bathroom organization
Labels make it easier to find what we are looking for and where to put it back. A unique and design able label can add more interest and personalization to the space.
Storage Ladder
A great option for frequently changing the design of bathroom is freestanding storage. In this storage ladder one can store different items at each level. To match the bathroom design style we can paint the ladder and fill it with different types of containers to bring dimension to the space.
Sink Skirt
A tiny bathroom faces the problem of no room for storage containers. In this case we can use the space underneath the sink. Storage bins can be placed underneath the pedestal sinks by covering it with a patterned sink skirt. The skirt allows adding several storage containers without cluttering the space.
Organizing the bathroom should not be considered a hard or complicated process. The main goal is creation of functional space – easier to use and simple to keep organized. So it is very clear that just a few changes can make a big difference in our daily routines.

Fortunately, while all pests have unique and distinct behaviors, all pests require food, moisture, and shelter. So, by focusing on these three features, we can prevent many pest problems from our home.
Here are some tips that we can use to control pests and rodents in our home and keep our house clean and disease free.

Also, we can repair all the doors and windows with more effective measures if necessary.
Maintaining garden
In garden, we should take proper care of areas where the pests like mosquitoes, rats and ants can grow easily. We need to fill in holes or pits where water can accumulate. If we have a water fountain in the garden, we need to clean it regularly. Also, we should prune the plants when needed to avoid wild, bushy growths. The items of external use always need to be kept in the outside the house. Because bringing them inside may unknowingly bring in many pests into the house.
Pests thrive in dirty, damp atmosphere. So we have to be very careful when cleaning our kitchen as well as bathroom. Clean bathroom and kitchen is always pest free for a longer time. We need to wipe the kitchen counters, racks, stove-top and drawers regularly with a disinfectant cleaner so that there are no food particles lying out in the open. Those expensive, dangerous and heavily marketed pesticides are not only harmful to all living things; they are not always effective over the long term. Here are some simple natural solutions to pest problems by using products that we have around our home.
- To keep ants away from your home, you can use a solution made from 1/4 cup white vinegar, 2 cups water and 10 drops of peppermint or eucalyptus oil. You can also sprinkle mixture of 1 cup sugar and 1 cup borax powder around your home. Sprinkle borax powder in the kitchen and bathroom cabinets to keep away cockroaches. But avoid sprinkling where children and pets can reach and affected.
- To keep spiders away, slice up some onions and toss them in a bowl of water. Place the bowl where spiders enter your home and they’ll stay away.
- Garlic can be said as natural insecticide for almost every insect from mosquitoes to potato beetles. Grind some garlic with water and apply in the places from where insects might enter.
- You can use boiled water or some lemon juice in the holes, cracks or other entries where ants are creeping into your house.
- You can make a fly paper to use as a flycatcher. Boil water, sugar and corn syrup together. Spread the extra-sticky mixture on brown paper grocery bags and keep aside. The flies can fly in, but can’t fly out. The paper will trap the germ-carrying flies.
- Neem oil prevents fungus growth, and kills insects including spider mites. While it fights many scourges, it’s nontoxic to birds, mammals and most beneficial insects. It can sometimes affect bees so use it in the evening to minimize contact. Neem oil is usually sold in a concentrated form, you need to add water.
- Spread cucumber peels where ants might enter your home. The ants will move quickly from there. Cucumber peeling does not have any dangers of the chemical pesticides.
- For controlling mosquitoes, we can burn citronella candles. You can also use garlic, just peel a few cloves of garlic and then boil them for about 20 minutes. This will produce some very pungent garlic water. Pour it into a spray bottle and squirt it where the mosquitoes are.
- Ivory liquid dish washing detergent can act as a natural insecticide. Dilute with water until it is a 1 or 2 percent solution and then spray on plants.
This pest control tip may not completely eliminate the pest infestation problem, but it surely will reduce the number of pests in your house. By using these simple tips you can live a healthy life. Cleaning after pest control is also very important to ensure your house doesn’t get infested soon.
